I believe one of the major issues that will be confronting our nation in the coming years is the defense of this country against terrorism and, specifically against the cancer of islamo-fascism. That being said, it only follows that we need to expect from our next President a hard stand against our enemies and a strong position on defense. This is not news to anyone, at least to anyone with common sense. Without a crystal ball, however, there’s no way to accurately predict exactly what a particular president or his/her party will do once being handed the power of the executive office. What we do have, though, is the great lense of history to demonstrate for us, what might be expected following a particular electoral outcome.
One of my goals for this blog, is to present as much useful information on particular issues as possible that so those who read and listen will have good and accurate data by which to make wise decisions and form healthy opinions. I hope to this without bias and with the best interest of our society and nation in mind when discussing politics, specifically. As such, I believe history does not lie and the following article provides a very telling history of the record of democratic leadership in this country when it has come to the defense and protection of our Republic.
